The Scottish Knitwear Group SA (Pty) Ltd. was established in 1988 as a result of a management buyout of Pringle of Scotland’s South African subsidiary and the exclusive distribution and licence to manufacture and distribute the Pringle of Scotland brand in South and Southern Africa. The Scottish Group currently houses the licenses to PALLADIUM, Pringle of Scotland and its in-house brands, Toe Porn & Over the Moon.
The Scottish Group distributes to approximately 500 stockists throughout the region via a network of sales staff and agents from a sophisticated distribution centre in Sandton. This distribution centre has the current capacity to turn over 1 million units of merchandise per annum and can be modified to increase this capacity.
The region includes South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Angola, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria and Mauritius.
We also have our own chain of retail stores under the PALLADIUM & Pringle of Scotland Brands.
